“He is true if there is such a thing, more than a generational quarterback,” Theisman said, as quoted by Fox News Digital. “A lot of young guys will aspire to try and accomplish what he did. But no one ever will. Nobody’s going to win seven world championships.”

Moreover, Theismann said that Brady’s retirement from professional football was the right decision. The former QB said Brady’s retirement would allow other young quarterbacks to show their potential.

“It’s not going to happen again. So what we’ve been able to see is monumental. And I think it’s the right decision. As I said, I felt like last year was going to be his last year. So that chapter is going to be closed, and now the young guns will get their days in the sunshine,” Theismann said.

Before the announcement, there were rumors that the Las Vegas Raiders, San Francisco 49ers, Miami Dolphins and Brady’s former team, the New England Patriots, were among the teams that were interested in g him.
